ABWM of Wyoming has had a “rebuilding” year. After a slow start, plans are in place for Women’s Conference in September. After much prayer and discussion it was decided to do things differently this year to see if we can spark more interest in AB Women’s Ministries. This year will be Bibles, Bandages and Buddies at Bethel, September 25-26, 2009 at Bethel Baptist Church in Casper. The focus will be on our White Cross quota for the state.
Although we have not been as active, corporately, as we would have liked, we were certainly not dormant. The ministries of ABWM continued, as did our love for the program and for God. National Women’s Conference was held at Lake Williamson Christian Center in Carlinville, IL in July. Three Wyoming women attended and were blessed by the fellowship with other women from around the country and Puerto Rico.
We plan to continue to seek new and innovative ways to witness, help and fellowship with each other, despite the geographical distance between each church.
