A Division of American Baptist Homes of the Midwest (ABHM)

Who We Are:

The Baptist Home Association is part of a not-for profit corporation that has been offering a variety and continuum of quality care from a Christian perspective since 1964. The American Baptist Churches of the Rocky Mountains (ABCRM) is a charter sponsor of the BHA. Two campuses operate in the Denver Metro area: Mountain Vista Retirement Community in Wheat Ridge and Franklin Park Living Campus in Denver.

Mission:

The ABHM mission states, “American Baptist Homes of the Midwest, embracing our Christian Heritage and Mission, seeks to create and encourage caring communities offering health care, housing, and supportive services to people of many ages, cultures and conditions. We endeavor to provide environments which nurture self worth, hope and dignity.”

The two care communities in the Denver Metro area employs over 300 care workers and provides care for over 400 persons. Unlike many other retirement communities, we continue to provide spiritual care for our residents, families, and staff on both campuses. Moreover, the staff at both sites are dedicated to caring for elders and providing a safe and humane home environment for people in this stage of their lives.

Thank You:

The care communities of The Baptist Home Association and American Baptist Homes of the Midwest want to express our deep gratitude to the churches and individuals who through the years have blessed the communities in many ways. Financial contributions, in-kind donations, and many hours of volunteer service have made a great difference in the lives of our elders and disabled residents.

When a contribution is made, residents may receive help for simple pleasures that they might not otherwise be able to afford, like a trip to the beauty shop or the gift shop. When someone donates their time for a visit or their talent, residents sense the caring and compassion of God’s presence and love.

James 1:27 says, “Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble…”
