Power of Camping

Camping Changes Lives!

Looking for an opportunity for your students to a faith-based summer camp? American Baptist Churches of the Rocky Mountains supports three unique  camp options for your youth group or individual students to attend.

Summer 2024 Youth Camp Schedules:

Front Range Camping: July 14th-20th

Elementary- High School

Woodland Park, CO.

Camp Wyoba: Dates TBD

Elementary- High School

Casper Mountain, WY.

Grand Mesa Camp: Dates TBD

Camp is a holy place because no matter who you are, no matter what you are going through, no matter how you feel, no matter what your traditions or lack thereof are, you can find people just like you, wanting to know more about God, with God.

“For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” Matthew 18:20

 When you send a kid to camp, you touch their future and perhaps eternity.

MINISTERS COUNCIL

We are an independent, non-profit organization of ordained, commissioned and lay Christian leaders who are serving American Baptist Churches.

What do we do?

We nurture, encourage and strengthen more than 2000 clergy, counselors, seminarians and lay leaders. We provide fellowshipping opportunities; spiritual enrichment; and educational programming to fuel the effectiveness of the men and women called of God to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We provide

  • Support for regionally based Ministers Council chapters;

  • Annual gatherings, workshops, retreats for respite, and spiritual and professional development;

  • Models and best practice guidelines for creating clergy peer groups;

  • Informative articles and writings for ministers;

  • Discounts to value-added services through partnerships;

  • A sense of community for clergy so that no one has to go it alone.

How can you support the Ministers Council?

  • Give to the Leadership Effectiveness Initiative, which supports the delivery of workshops and retreats around the nation.

  • Give to the Ministers Council Together in Ministry Capital Campaign, which expands the program of clergy peer group learning.

  • Give to the Ministers Council Equipping Ministries Endowment Fund, which provides future funding for the support of the ministry.

  • Join the Ministers Council
