(It should be noted that this document was previously sent to the ABCRM churches. Some deadlines have already passed, but churches were notified by mail.)
Phase One:
- Churches and individuals submit requests to have items that they donated returned to them.
- the BFCCC Board meets to approve any items.
- BFCCC Board considers the request by Brian High and Kent McIlhaney to return the items they donated for High and Low Ropes to be used at other facilities.
- Requests must be submitted by August 15, 2005.
Phase Two:
- Camp WYOBA and Grand Mesa have a chance to "request" items that they need to continue or improve their camping ministry.
- Requests must be submitted by August 31, 2005.
- Camps must pick up items from BFCCC by November 30, 2005.
Phase Three:
- BFCCC Board determines items to be sold at a "Silent Auction" at the Celebration Weekend (September 9-11, 2005). Examples of items that might be auctioned:
- Trail signs
- Cabin signs
- The bell
- The store benches and counter
- Wall hangings and art work from the Conference Center
- Antique items from the Nurse’s Cabin
- Soda machine in store
- Mountain boards
- Mountain bikes
- Items must be paid for by September 11, 2005.
- Items must be picked up by November 30, 2005.
Phase Four:
- Values are placed on items that have been requested that are not being sold in the "Silent Auction" or that did not sell in the Silent Auction, for example:
- Kitchen equipment
- Pictures from Conference Center
- Items must be requested by September 30, 2005.
- Items must be paid for by October 15, 2005.
- Items must be picked up by November 30, 2005.
Phase Five:
- Other Christian organizations and camps are given a chance to purchase items.
- Bunks, mattresses, bikes, etc. might be of specific interest to other camping ministries.
- Items must be picked up by November 30, 2005.
Phase Six:
- General Auction
- Murray McCandless prepares items to be sold at a general auction or on Ebay.
- What about the cabins? Are they Classic property? Does Classic even want them? Murray believes that we could sell these on Ebay.
