Salt and Light Youth Leadership
UPDATE: The ABCRM Board is funding half of the program cost to applicants, reducing it to $100. We can't wait to see you!

What's Salt and Light?

Salt and Light is a leadership academy designed for juniors and seniors in high school.

The academy is rooted in the Word of God, based upon Jesus's words in Mt. 5:13-16 (see below). In this powerful encouragement to believers, Jesus called upon you and me to exemplify his works by being the salt and light of the earth!

And so, the Salt and Light Leadership Academy offers the tools and resources needed for the proper spiritual formation, leadership development, and missional opportunities to make a difference in this world. All participants will have the opportunity to grow and to flourish in this academy.

Bible

Biblically Based

13 "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

14 "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; 15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" (Mt. 5:13-16).

* * *

The vision of this leadership academy is empower and to inform the skills and gifts to be leaders that season the earth with salt and light. By doing so, we all exemplify Jesus Christ, our Lord.
